Israel is a nuclear power that can take care of itself. What the US is *really* doing in the ME is Putin’s dirty work while intercepting all of the Muslim hated. (Witness Trump giving Putin a free hand in Syria to resume barbarities there, while hassling Iran and all the other nations on Russia’s southern border. But hey, everybody gets to pick their poison.
