You’d think that violent media with 9 figure production budgets would be a bigger societal concern than a one-man webcomic, but you’d be mistaken.
Speaking of which, I have decided to remove all comments from my site for the foreseeable future. I was informed that despite my best efforts moderating, people will try to slip in posts with things ranging from lewdness to criminal ideation. These things have never been allowed on my website. I am simply not able to track 400+ comic posts with several thousand comments, so I’ve decided to remove them entirely.
If you have ever been genuinely concerned about the threat that webcomics pose, consider this: Alec Baldwin has a higher kill count than all webcomics combined.
Of course, you are still welcome to comment on my social medias.
Speaking of cancelling art, it would seem the wild success of the Flurks NFT has caused quite a stir. So much in fact, the art was de-listed on NFT markets OpenSea and Rarible without explanation.
Thankfully the story has gotten picked up by news outlets. In fact, if you or someone you know would like to publish this story, hit me up.
Alternatively, if you or someone you know works at OpenSea/Rarible, let’s talk. I’ve been trying to for a week.
